MUMBAI – Ramdhar Maheshwari Career Counseling Centre (RMCC) in collaboration with the Linden Tours hosted a U.S. University Fair on Friday, September 12, 2014 in Mumbai. Representatives from 12 U.S. universities attended and provide interested students, parents, and educators’ information about their institutions and academic programs.
The participating universities represent a wide geographical area in the U.S. and offer a range of academic programs at undergraduate and post graduate levels. Entries to the Study Abroad Edu Fair were made free and open to the Students and Faculties. It fetched an overwhelming response from the student and faculties from the Junior college, Degree colleges and International Schools of the nearby locality. It was organized on September 12, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Saraf Hall, Malad, Mumbai.
Fair timings: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Program for Friday, September 12, 2014 concurrent sessions with the University Fair:
2:00 P.M – 2:30 P.M.: Seminar by University representative on “How to strengthen your University Application and avail maximum Scholarship”
2:30 P.M – 2:45 P.M.: Query session
2:45 P.M – 4:00 P.M.: University Fair individuals were allowed to meet the admission officers at their desk.
This event served as an excellent opportunity for Students and Parents to meet the representatives from the visiting International Universities, interact with them and share their concerns on a One-on-One basis, collect college application forms, and receive information about academic programs and student life. Bringing together so many U.S.A colleges in one place provided a great opportunity to obtain first-hand information from college representatives. The information and guidance provided by the representatives will help students and parents make informed choices. We encourage anyone who is interested about studying in U.S.A to come out, learn more about the schools, and join the information sessions. There are excellent educational opportunities available in the United States for Indian students.
