RMCC organized a Career Guidance Webinar for Parents and students studying from grade 8th to grade 12th on 26th June, 2020
The webinar was organized with the objective to spread the awareness on importance of choosing the right career path.
The webinar focused on the importance of subject selection for students in their formative years of grade VIII and IX. Why it is imperative to know a career options at an early stage and how selecting and dropping of a subject can impact the future career choices.
Stream selection is an important milestone in the career planning stage and what parameters are crucial to evaluate before choosing the respective stream. Career options available for each stream were discussed.
The professional informed about the importance of career counseling and the challenges that are faced while deciding the career. Considerations such as parent’s preferences, economic resources, peer pressure and career trend.
The various stages of career planning were explained and importance of taking an informed decision was discussed. RMCC professional emphasized the importance of knowing an individual’s Aptitude, Interest and Personality for career planning.
It was a very enlightening experience for the students as well as their parents, as one student mentioned “I enjoyed the session very much, now all my doubts are all cleared. Thank you so much” the webinar ended on a successful note.
