Sound and Movement Therapy Workshop
On 26th October, RMCC organized an engaging Sound and Movement Therapy session aimed at promoting mental health, perfectly aligning with World Mental Health Day’s focus on mental well-being in the workplace. This workshop attracted over 20 participants, including several esteemed members of the RSET management and the entire RMCC team, who together emphasized the importance of prioritizing mental health within their own work culture.
The session kicked off in a serene and welcoming atmosphere. RMCC's director, Ms. Dixha Nath, started with a brief introduction to RMCC's mission, highlighting the organization's dedication to personal growth and mental well-being. Ms. Riddhi Doshi Patel, a Certified Child Psychologist and Parenting Counselor, and Ms. Tejal Karia, Founder of Wise Ttalks, were then introduced as the expert facilitators of the session. Both brought extensive experience and a thoughtful approach to the workshop, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among participants. The facilitators began by guiding everyone through simple relaxation techniques, helping participants settle into the session. This was followed by an immersive sound healing experience, where soothing sounds helped participants release stress and tension. The interactive movement segment encouraged self-expression, allowing participants to connect with their bodies and minds more deeply.
Throughout the workshop, participants were offered practical strategies to manage their mental health in both work and home environments. These interventions included mindfulness practices, emotional regulation exercises, and other self-care tools designed to fit into daily life.
The session wrapped up with participants sharing their feedback, which was overwhelmingly positive. Many noted how relaxed and mentally refreshed they felt. The presence of RSET management members and the RMCC team highlighted the organization’s belief in cultivating a healthy work environment, reinforcing the significance of mental health for everyone involved.
