On 26th July & 27th, July 2019 RMCC Professionals conducted a FREE assessment camp for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. The purpose of this assessment was to know whether the child’s reading and spelling age were age-appropriate. To measure them accurately, it was done through a standardized assessment test called Schonel’s Reading & Spelling test We received an overwhelming registration of students.
After the camp was conducted, reports were made and explained to the parents whether their ward’s Reading & Spelling Age were :
1) About grade level of grade.
2) Grade level of their chronological age & grade.
3) Below grade level of their chronological age & grade.
Based on their reports the parents were also given suggestions and recommendations of how they can enhance their child’s strengths and concern. All in all, it was a very successful camp with great participation of the students and parents.
